I stumbled upon a post by the artist Rachel Baxter and fell in love with the posh cockney art prints immediately. I just couldn't resist the Ballroon Blitz print and have it in pride of place in the dining room. So it was a no brainer for me to get them for the shop and when I found out she lives in Poole, well it was meant to be!
Rachel has been working as a graphic desinger and illustrator for the past 14 + years and her work has taken to some exoctic places like Dubai. But the call of old Blighty and a passion for working on her own designs bought her home to start a new chapter in her life.
Posh Cockney is a mix of British upper-class phases with cheeky cockney rhyming slang that add a splash of colour to your walls and smile to your face. These make a fab gift and come beautifully presented in eco-conscious packaging.
Rock and Rara use one paper stock, in two different weights: A5 + A4: G.F Smith Naturalis, 330gsm and A3 + A2: G.F Smith Naturalis, 250gsm. Naturalis is a smooth uncoated paper stock and is made in the Lake District, UK. It's FSC certified, 100% virgin ECF fibre and acid-free. G.F Smith Naturalis is one of the best performing uncoated stocks currently available thanks to the use of the finest photographic-grade pulp in its manufacture.
