We’ve all been stuck at home during lockdown, those of you with kids have been focussing hard on homeschooling and maybe you're also juggling a full time job alongside that, whatever you’ve been doing during lockdown focussing on fashion has probably been very low on the list.  Comfort and practicality has been the order of the day for all of us.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about self care and how fashion is part of my identity that makes me feel, well like me!  Being stuck at home and having no need to think about what I’m wearing has actually affected my sense of wellbeing and those days I make the effort I feel so much happier and productive.  Fashion is after-all empowering your own self care.

We don’t have to neglect our wardrobe though, we don’t have to live in clothes that make us feel less of ourselves.  Style can be comfortable and practical too, you just need to work out what clothes make you happy.

Now that we have a roadmap of coming out of lockdown, the school run is imminent, and getting back to spending time with our friends and family is getting ever closer, so these last few weeks of lockdown is the perfect time to start afresh, put away those sloppy clothes and find your style again.

I’ve put together some style guides to help you get there, let's start with you lovely mums first as you get to strut yourself on the school run in just a few weeks.
